Day 2 Report
After Tamil Nadu took a slender 4-run lead, Hyderabad bowlers Mohammed
Ghosh (4-56) and Khaja Obaidullah (4-51) brought their side right back
into the match.
Consequently, Hyderabad's opening pair of Aditya Agarwal and K
Ramaswamy were onto a flier, putting on 103 runs in a mere 25.2 overs
to keep their side in contention. Lanky Aditya missed his century by a
brace when he played back to the bowler Dhandapani, offering a catch.
Hyderbad finished the day on 177/3. The match is evenly poised going
into the final day.
The One-day match (M Chinnaswamy Trophy) between the same sides will
be played on Sunday (22 Nov 1998)
