North Zone defeated West Zone by a margin of 81 runs. Put in to bat first by West Zone skipper Udai Karavadra, North Zone piled up a sound total of 221 in just 188 minutes. Chandan Madan hit 69 in 79 minutes after facing 69 balls with the help of three sixes and six fours. Deepak Joon contributed 29. Jagdish Patel captured 5 wickets for 36 runs in 8.5 overs.

In reply West Zone was bundled out for 140 in 160 minutes. Their batsmen lacked understanding while running between the wickets. As a result as many as three batsmen were run out. Vinit Indulkar was the only batsmen who batted with consistency to score 51 runs.
