The services team registered impressive 45 runs victory over the hosts J&K in the first one dayer of the North Zone Ranji match played here today.

After winning the toss J&K team captain Sanjay Sharma elected to field & put services to bat. Batting first services scored 178 for 8 in 50 overs. J&K team failed to achive the target and could score only 133 for 10 wickets in 47.3 overs. The wicket helped the spinners during whole of the day and batsmen had no help of the wicket at all. Services will take on J&K tomorrow at the same venue in the four day Ranji match.
