A sparkling 95 (99b, 15x4) by Gagan Khoda helped Rajasthan beat Madhya
Pradesh by four wickets in the Ranji one-dayer. Madhya Pradesh has
already qualified for the Wills Trophy from the Central Zone by
winning the first three matches. They finished the league with 6
points while Rajasthan had four points.
Madhya Pradesh lost the toss and were put in by Rajasthan. They made
232/8 in 50 overs. Amay Khurasiya scored 69 (83 balls 9x4, 1x6). He
added 88 runs for the fifth wicket with Bundela. Rajasthan got off to
a flying start scoring 90/3 in the first 15 overs. They won the match
easily. The two teams play the vital four day match from tomorrow.
Madhya Pradesh will have the services of Pandit, Hirwani, Lahore, and
Dwivedi who did not play today. Both Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have
13 points from three matches. The team getting five points will
qualify for super Leageue while the other team will have to wait for
the result of the match between Uttar Pradesh (13 points) and Railways
(14 points).
