A swashbuckling inning of Khurasiya helped Madhya Pradesh defeat Saurashtra by seven wickets to improve their chances of qualifying for the knock out stage of the Ranji Trophy.

A Khurasiya smashed six sixes, and five fours in his electrifying knock. He reached his 50 in 21 balls. He carted Kotak for 22 runs (3x6, 1x4) in one over. MP leg spinner Narendra Hirwani today became the highest wicket taker for MP in Ranji Trophy. He took his tally to 297 wickets. (59 matches, Avg 23.40) beating the previous record of 295 wickets held by CS Nayudu.
