Day 1 Report

Surinder Singh Bagal, left-arm medium pacer, restricted visitors Delhi ato 81 for 7 on the truncated first day of the 4-day Ranji League tie. The Match could started at 11:40 due to fog and play halted at 3:19 PM, after Delhi batsmen appealed against the light. Earlier Jammu and Kashmir won the toss and opted to field. Surinder's fine spell (4/20) put Delhi on the backfoot and they were at 81 for 7 at close.

Day 2 Report

Jammu and Kashmir bundled out Delhi for 148 and were 35 for 2 at the end of the second day's play. Play was once again truncated due to fog. The match began at 13:45 pm due and closed early when the Jammu and Kashmir batsmen, like their Delhi counterparts yesterday, appealed against the light. Fog is expected tomorrow as well.

Day 3 Report

The Delhi team bundled out hosts, Jammu and Kashmir for 125 in 51 overs to take a 23 runs first innings lead. In reply they were on 166 for 7 at the close of play.

The match began at the scheduled start but around 10:18AM as stopped for about 30 minutes due to badlight. As has been the case on the two preceding days, play was halted in the evening due to poor light, when Delhi had faced 45.3 overs.

For Jammu and Kashmir, Ashwani Gupta dismissed 5 batsman today while Virender Shewag of Delhi scored 60. With a day to play and the pitch taking spin, Delhi are in a good position to force a result.
