Date-stamped : 01 May97 - 06:16 Somerset, who recovered from a sketchy start to gain a resounding victory over Glamorgan by 141 runs, will be strengthened for their three remaining games by the return of Pakistani leg- spinner Mushtaq Ahmed. Gold Award winner Mark Lathwell (77) and Richard Harden (68) rescued Somerset with a partnership of 133 for the fifth wicket, but both were dropped early on as Glamorgan contributed to their downfall with a shoddy fielding performance. At Headingley, Phil Newport took four for 37 to end Yorkshire`s hopes of a second win in 24 hours. Newport claimed the key wickets of Martyn Moxon, Darren Lehmann, Craig White and Richard Blakey as Worcestershire, defending a modest total of 199 for nine, eased home by 12 runs.
