Colts completed a thumping innings and 190 runs victory over Panadura SC, 15 minutes before lunch on the final day of their Segment 'A' Sara trophy cricket match concluded at Havelock Park yesterday.
Chasing a mammoth Colts total of 446 for 5 declared, Panadura SC were shot out twice for totals of 105 and 151 by the fast-medium pace of former Sri Lanka bowler Dulip Liyanage who finished with a match bag of 7 for 48.
Colts's massive total comprised three centurions, Dulip Samaraweera (100) and Chaminda Mendis (102) who put on 188 for the first wicket, and wicket-keeper Romesh Kaluwitharana, who hammered a superb 150 off 152 balls in 206 minutes with four sixes and 19 fours.

Bloomfield spinners Ruwan Kalpage (4 for 110 in 48.1 overs) and Sanath Jayasuriya (4 for 54 in 31 overs) engineered a remarkable NCC collapse to earn their team first innings points in their drawn Segment 'A' Sara trophy match concluded at Maitland Place yesterday.
NCC beginning the day requiring 84 runs with five wickets in hand to top Bloomfield's first innings total of 364, lost their remaining wickets for the addition of only 35 runs to be all out for 316. Only Avishka Gunawardena batted sensibly to record his maiden first-class century (108 in 404 minutes, 301 balls, 10 fours).
In Bloomfield's second innings, Jayasuriya followed his first innings knock of 75 with a rapid 72 off 76 balls in 96 minutes (11 fours). Naveed Nawaz was also among the runs scoring 84 in 125 balls (10 fours, 1 six).
