Umpires panel for India-South Africa Tests announced

The Castle Lager Test series between India and South Africa, which begins with the first Test at Kingsmead, Durban, on December 26, will feature a panel of neutral umpires appointed for the purpose by the International Cricket Council.

Three umpires will do duty for the three Tests in the series Steven Dunne of New Zealand, Darrell Hair of Australia and Peter Willey of England.

Standing with them are home umpires Dave Orchard, Rudi Koertzen and Cyril Mitchley.

The duty roster is as follows: For the first Test at Kingsmead, Durban, it will be Dunne and Orchard; for the second Test at Newlands, Cape Town, Hair and Koertzen will officiate; and for the thid Test at the Wanderers, Johannesburg, the duty will be shared by Willey and Mitchley.
