Date-stamped : 03 Jan97 - 14:22 1 January 1997 Possible Changes For South Africa XI Two changes to the team that beat India so convincingly in Durban are anticipated for the 2nd Test which starts in Cape Town tomor- row. Chinaman bowler Paul Adams, who bowled well against England in Cape Town last season may well be added to the attack. Should this happen it seems likely that Lance Klusener will be the man to stand down: There will be no experimenting with the potent opening combination of Shaun Pollock and Allan Donald; and Brian MacMillan bowled and batted well in the Kingsmead test. The other likely change is the inclusion of the richly talented and in-form Jacques Kallis in place of his Western Province team-mate Herschelle Gibbs. It`d be rough on Gibbs who enjoyed a fruitful tour of England with South Africa "A" and has demon- strated almost freakish fielding skills, but Kallis has shown ex- cellent form since coming back into the Western Province side after a back injury.
