Indian Team Arrive In South Africa

The Indian cricket team, led by Sachin tendulkar, arrived in Port Elizabeth to open their 12-match tour of South Africa from saturday. They will take on Eastern Province in a three-day game starting from saturday.

Tendulkar said they have a few problems adjusting to conditions in South Africa, but promised to give a good fight. Tendulkar said they will take the maximin use of the three-day game, before the first Test against South Africa which starts in Durban on the Boxing Day.

India , fresh after their 2-1 home series win against South Africa and the three-nation tournament, are determined to maintain their superb form. After the three-Test series, India, South Africa and Zimbabwe will play in a triangular tournament from January 23 to February 13 next year.
