New Zealand v Transvaal, One-day Match, Johannesburg, 3 Dec 94

Transvaal win by 8 wickets

New Zealand slumped to defeat  in  their  one-day  match  against
Transvaal  in  Johannesburg  at  the  hands of pace bowler Steven
Jack.  Jack, who claimed 2 for 33 in  the  tourists'  innings  of
214,  followed  with  a  career  best 107 runs. The result was an
eight-wicket win for Transvaal achieved in only 41 overs.  Revel-
ling  in  his new found role of opening batsman, Jack, normally a
number  11  batsman,  scored  his  half  century  off   only   40
deliveries.
