Date-stamped : 30 Jun94 - 14:26 Minor Counties v Durham, Hartlepool, 27 & 28 April 1993 Durham won by 6 wkts. In a match delayed by 24 hours by mist and a saturated pitch, Durham needed all but 7 deliveries of their 55 overs to reach their target of 157. Batting was never easy on the rain-affected pitch and there was a brief flutter in the home camp when Bain- bridge was out for 34 off the first ball of the 53rd over with 15 still needed. But Botham finished the task in the next over, clipping his second six over mid-wicket to finish on 35 not out. Wicket-keeper Fothergill won the Gold Award for four excellent catches and a sttumping.
