RSA B+H Night Series : Semi-finals : 1st leg
WPr vs OFS, Cape Town, 2 Feb 94

Western Province (192/9) beat Orange Free State (118 all out)  by
74  runs. Province won the toss and batted first. They lost wick-
ets at regular intervals until Eric Simons  and  Meyrick  Pringle
got together at 95/5. They put on just under 50 runs before Prin-
gle was out for 30. Simons went on to score 55* and  brought  the
total  to  192/9 with Bradley Player getting 3 or 4 wickets. Free
State were never in the running and were eventually  bowled   out
for   118  with about 10 overs left.  Newcomer Adnan Meyer picked
up 4 wickets for Province as did Eric Simons. Simons got the  man
of the match award.
