Canterbury in South Africa Sep 1993 - Summary

New Zealand`s Shell Cup holders, Canterbury, enjoyed a successful
pre-season tour of South Africa. They won all four one-day games,
but failed to chase the target of 271 in 61 overs in  the  first-
class   match  with  Eastern  Province.   Chris Harris scored 158
without being dismissed in the match  against Eastern   Province,
and  he averaged 62 in the one-day matches with a century against
Boland.
