What have Midland Guildford been up to?

Victoria (My domain he says as he swaps papers)

It was a godawful weekend for us as North Melbourne plumetted to
101 all out with offie Shaun Williams taking 6-18 off 16
overs.Footscray declared at 3-104 and North were 1-10 in the
second innings (Come on Liam). Consolation was it wasn't the
lowest score as Hawthorn (87) beat it, Victorian rep Richard
Herman took 6-36 capitalising on the opening stints, chasing
quick runs Melbourne declared at 5-88 with Hawthorn 0-5 at
stumps. Better news for Geelong though as quick Quick and Smith
bowled well and Frankston Peninsula were 150 all out with top
score at 7 being Matt Deighton with 59* (described as impressive
and brilliant by the Geelong Adverstiser so it must have been
good) Geelong lost 1 wicket for 42 runs by stumps. New Victorian
player Ian Harvey had an eventful day for Dandenong-Waverly
keeping and bowling as South Melbourne were dismissed for 194 (31
Phillips top score) and the combine were 0-30 in reply.
Northcote made 203 against Fitzroy Doncaster who are 2-33.
University pounded St Kilda with 5-264 Geoff Allardice scoring
101, Warne bowled 29 overs for 3-80 Carlton can thank new BUY Ian
Wrigglesworth for their 230 of which he made 84.Ringwood were
2-17 in reply. Good point from this was the other legspinner
Craig Howard took 6-79 probably with all his bouncing about too.
Matthew Drain scored 101 of Essendon's 256 against Prahan.
Spinners Weiner (J!) and Milosz took 4 wickets each. Paul Reiffel
top scored with 49 for Richmond (7-246) against Collingwood.
