after P Chatterjee of Bengal who captured 10 wickets of
Assam at Jorhat in 1956-57.
- P Sunderam took a total of 16 wickets in the match (16/154), which
are the best figures in Ranji Trophy.
- Previous best was by P Chatterjee (15/109) of Bengal against
Madhya Pradesh at calcutta in 1955-56 and by SP Gupte (15/104)
of Rajasthan against Vidarbha at Nagpur in 1962-63.
