Date-stamped : 15 May94 - 02:29 India vs Glamorgan July 25. 26, 27 1979 - Swansea - India won by seven wickets Splendid batting by Gaekwad and Viswanath set the Indians along the winning trail, but after Bedi had forced a follow-on, there was a spirited second innings recovery by Glamorgan and the visi- tors had to bat again. In the Indians' first innings, Gaekwad (109) and Viswanath (112) put on 198 for the third wicket in 49 overs and the side declared at 332 for four. Glamorgan ended the day at 42 for one and collapsed before Bedi (6 for 28) on the second day. Following on 210 behind, Glamorgan made 317, with Bedi again capturing six wickets.
