- Originally Gentlemen v Players was scheduled for these dates,
but the games were swopped on the day of the game because of
injuries to F.G.B.Ponsonby and C.G.Taylor and the unavoidable
absence of Anson and E.Napper. Felix's 105 included two 5's,
nine 4's, four 3's., six 2's and 35 singles. Grimston retired
hurt overnight with a fractured finger from a ball by A.Mynn
