In the 4th match of the triangular series for the Coca-Cola Cup, India took on West Indies at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. Windies opener Chris Gayle (0) was the first wicket to fall, trapped right in front of the wicket by Harvinder Singh. Daren Ganga (2) scooped an easy catch to Reetinder Singh Sodhi in the covers off the bowling of Mohanty. Wavell Hinds (9) too departed soon, Sodhi taking a good catch to give Mohanty his second wicket. West Indies were in early trouble at 18/3 in the 11th over.
